A life in chapters
From Chios to Newport Beach.
No. 01 · Chios, Greece
Where it begins
Born on the island of Chios and brought to the United States as a toddler, Julia grew up in California's Central Valley — surrounded by the natural beauty and hardworking spirit that shaped her appreciation for craftsmanship.
No. 02 · A teenage collector
Vintage, first
A love of fashion and jewelry arrived early. As a teenager she began collecting vintage pieces — many of which still echo through her own designs today.
No. 03 · At nineteen
Southern California & the road
A modeling contract took her south, then around the world. Travel deepened an eye for architecture, fashion and vintage jewelry that no school could teach.
No. 04 · 2000
Interior design school
After marrying and raising her family, Julia formally studied design and built a successful interior design career — while quietly sketching jewelry for years.
No. 05 · 2009
Julia Post Jewelry is founded
A debut collection of twenty original pieces. Soon after, a dress designer invited the house to style Emily Blunt for the BAFTA red carpet — the beginning of an internationally recognized fine jewelry brand.
No. 06 · Curator LA & Barneys
The house expands
Julia opened her Los Angeles store, Curator LA, and her collections were carried by Barneys New York. Today the pieces are found in select luxury boutiques across Southern California and worn by clients around the world.
No. 07 · 2019 — 2020
A year of healing, then Kenya
Diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2019, Julia gave that year to healing and reflection. She returned in 2020 with renewed purpose, travelling to Kenya to help oversee the construction of wells and schools alongside the Maasai communities.
No. 08 · Today
Newport Beach & beyond
From headquarters in Newport Beach, the Julia Post Jewelry team serves an international clientele — custom heirlooms, milestone celebrations, editorial styling and red carpet. Julia also serves on the board of Cancer Teamwork Response.
